About us
Carneros Volunteer Fire formerly Edgerly Island Volunteer Fire Department
Carneros Volunteer Fire Department was previously named Edgerly Island Fire Department was founded by the residents of Milton Rd and the parts of unincorporated Napa County in the mid 1900s.

Who are we today
Our department today is made up a people from all different walks of life. We have corporate executives, career firefighters, chefs, engineers, registered nurses, paramedics, a fire marshal, and EMTs all who bring great perspectives and view points to our station.
What areas do we serve?
Carneros Fire serves as one of the nine volunteer stations within Napa County Fire Department responding to various types of 911 calls. Napa County Fire is an all risk fire department, which means we respond to all types of fires (structure, vegetation, and debris), medical aids, hazmats, rescues and many other types of incidents.
We serve the south west portion of Napa county. Our response area is from the western Napa City Limits to the Sonoma County Line down to the boarder of American Canyon. We cover this large area with our paid counterparts of Napa County.
